Architects Don’t Blog

Okay, so it’s not entirely true that architects don’t blog. It’s a pretty common practice nowadays actually. For the most part though (and even architects that do blog will mention this at some point on their pages) getting an architect to blog consistently is a challenge. Ask them to design a new school in a rural community that has virtually no water on-site (we’re working on that by the by) no problem! Ask them to take a few minutes to write about what’s going on in the field that’s inspiring or concerning them and they suddenly have a million other things to do.

The point is – this initial post, this first step, is a pretty big one for us at Montbel Place. This is a challenge, to our entire office, to beat the stigma of “architects don’t blog.” Let’s see where it goes!
